Ice King’s Weight
So, I’m sure we’ve all noticed in the episode “I Remember You” that Ice King has gained a lot of weight.
We’re used to seeing him be practically skin and bones under his robe.
But think about this, if you would.
We never saw the Ice King without his robe until after the episode “Ricardio the Heart Guy”, where Ricardio was made and then put back into the Ice King’s chest. It was only after this episode that we would occasionally spot the Ice King with a raised robe or no robe at all.
We found out later that Ricardio was still enchanted inside of the Ice King’s body and was even removing various amounts of muscle tissue and organs to craft a pseudo body for himself, as noted in the episode “Lady & Peebles”. After Peebles handed his ass to him, Ricardio fled, forcing Peebles to make a new heart for the Ice King to live off of.
Ever since Ricardio left the Ice King’s body, no longer stealing body tissue from him, we have not seen an underweight Ice King.
Ricardio has been the cause of the sickly looking body of the Ice King this whole time.
