List of Most Used Tags

As an organization fiend, I decided to make a list of links to the most popular tags used on this blog. Again, this is not meant as an exhaustive list of all the tags I use - this just features a sampling of the ones I use the most. This will be a work of progress, owing to the sheer amount of stuff I blog.

Updated 8/24/11: General/blog-wide tags added; more tags added to Pokemon, ASoIaF/Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire; Persona 3/Persona 3 Portable/P3P tags added

Note: These links do NOT use “search” anywhere in the url as Tumblr’s default search is crap. (Meaning they look like the following, shinaka.tumblr.com/tagged/whateveryouwanttosearchfor, instead of shinaka.tumblr.com/search/whateveryouwanttosearchfor) This means you might get different (and more comprehensive) results using these tag links than you would get just using the search bar on this blog.

GENERAL TAGS (meaning tags not tied to any specific fandom)

lol (refers to posts I find funny; is quite subjective by nature for obvious reasons; I only started using this tag recently, so not all posts that should have this tag have it; same thing for the WTF tag)
WTF (refers to posts that inspire the titular reaction; also subjective by nature)
fan graphic (refers to posts where fans use words/screenshots/etc from shows/books/etc. to create a graphic of some sort)
fanart (an almost useless tag since I post almost exclusively fanart; however, it does serve to indicate that it’s not original art, which also has its own tag)
fancomic (refers to fan-made comics)
fanfic
art (this really refers to any illustration/drawing/etc. that is original/not from fandom)
comic
music
figurine (refers to toy figurines)
plushie (refers to stuffed dolls and plush toys)
food
food art (refers to posts of food decorated or made in an artistic manner)
pixiv (refers to fanart/art originating from the Japanese art site, pixiv)

POKEMON (the games specifically)/POKEMON MYSTERY DUNGEON

General Pokemon tags:
Shiny Pokemon (this tag can refer to the presence of one or more shiny Pokemon)
Generations - RBY, GSC, RSE, FRLG, HGSS, BW (though one should keep in mind that the RBY and FRLG tags are applied rather inconsistently, while I tend to tag most Johto-related art as HGSS unless GSC characters are specifically there; however, the RSE and BW tags are pretty reliable)
Original trainer (this tag refers to fan-made Pokemon trainers)
Gijinka (this tag can technically refer to any fan-made humanoid personification of an animal/animal-like creature but it tends to be used mostly for Pokemon posts)

Specific Pokemon tags:
Pikachu
Eevee
Flareon
Glaceon
Umbreon
Espeon
Leafeon
Jolteon
Vaporeon
Jigglypuff
Snivy (older posts use the Tsutaaja tag)
Tepig (older posts use the Pokabu tag)
Oshawott (older posts use the Mijumaru tag)
Piplup
Chimchar
Turtwig
Treecko
Torchic
Mudkip
Cyndaquil
Chikorita
Totodile
Bulbasaur
Squirtle
Charmander

Character tags
:
Touko (older posts use the White tag)
Touya (older posts use the Black tag)
Cheren
Belle (I do not use Bianca EVER to refer to the character in BW; Bianca instead refers to the character from the Pokemon Heroes movie)
N (This tag also refers to the character in PokeSpe)
Kotone (I do not use Lyra/Soul/Heart/Crystal at all for the female player character in HGSS)
Silver/Rival (I use the Silver tag both to refer to the rival character in the GSC/HGSS games and the character from PokeSpe; so if you just want fanart of the character from the games, use the Rival tag instead)
Hibiki (I use this and only this tag to refer to the male player character in HGSS; if you want fanart of the character from the GSC game specifically or from PokeSpe, use the Gold tag)
Brendan
May
Wally (This tag can refer to both the character from the RSE game and from PokeSpe)
Gold (This tag refers to both the male player character from HGSS and the character from PokeSpe)
Crystal (This tag refers to both the female player character from HGSS and the character from PokeSpe)
Red (This tag refers to the character from the RBY, GSC, FRLG, and HGSS games, as well as the character from PokeSpe)
Green (This tag refers to the rival character from the RBY, GSC, FRLG, and HGSS games, as well as the character from PokeSpe; Blue is used for the female character from PokeSpe)
Leaf (This tag refers only to the character from the FRLG games)

Shipping tags

Note: Keep in mind, I don’t use shipping names like Rocketshipping or Grantedshipping. Instead, I use LanceYellow or RedGreen, or MalenameFemalename or Older!FemalenameYounger!Malename or SemeUke (though exceptions do apply to those conventions) for convenience’s sake and because I don’t want to memorize the gazillion shipping names out there >.>
RedGreen (This tag refers to both the pairing from the games and from PokeSpe)
RivalKotone/SilverKotone (These two tags refer to the same pairing for the most part - that of the female player character and the rival character from the HGSS game - though the SilverKotone tag can allow for fanart of the pairing of Silver from PokeSpe with Kotone from the HGSS game, due to the Silver tag including the character from PokeSpe as well, but this very, very rarely occurs)
HibikiKotone (This tag is exclusively used for the pairing from HGSS)
RivalCrystal/SilverCrystal (The RivalCrystal tag refers exclusively to the pairing of the rival character and the female player character from the GSC game; the SilverCrystal tag includes the previous and the pairing from PokeSpe)
GoldCrystal (This tag can refer to both the pairings from the GSC game and from PokeSpe)
TouyaTouko (older posts use BlackWhite)
NTouko (older posts use NWhite
NTouya (older posts use NBlack)

POKEMON SPECIAL

Character tags:
White (Up to a certain point, this tag also referred to the character from the BW game)
Black (Up to a certain point, this tag also referred to the character from the BW game)
Platinum (This tag is exclusively used to refer to the female main character in PokeSpe; I chose not to use Platina because it was not based on any of the game titles)
Diamond (This is the only tag used to refer to the character from PokeSpe; Dia was cute but using “Diamond” preserved the game naming scheme)
Pearl
Ruby
Sapphire

A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE/ASOIAF/GAME OF THRONES

Book tags (keep in mind that they’re applied rather inconsistently - I tend to tag them all as “Game of Thrones”/”ASoIaF”/”A Song of Ice and Fire” instead these days - but specific book events, quotes, and/or characters tend to get these tags):
A Game of Thrones (though you’re much better off looking at the Game of Thrones tag)
A Clash of Kings
A Storm of Swords
A Feast for Crows
A Dance with Dragons

House tags (keep in mind that they’re applied rather inconsistently but usually in cases in which the house’s symbol rather than any characters show up):
House Stark
House Lannister

House Targaryen
House Tully
House Arryn
House Greyjoy
House Tyrell

Character tags:

Shipping tags
ShinjiroxMinako/ShinjiroxHamuko (both tags equally refer to the pairing, so either one will yield the same results as the other)
AkihikoxMinako/AkihikoxHamuko (both tags equally refer to the pairing, so you can use other tag for search without fear)
RyojixMinako/RyojixHamuko (both tags refer equally to the pairing, so blah blah, search with either)

I really like dried mangoes but unfortunately, I can't have them all the time.

Anyways, this blog contains a mix of Adventure Time, Pokemon, Persona, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, A:TLA/Legend of Korra, Mass Effect, and so on.

None of the art is mine, unless otherwise said.
